The Beauty of Lapland, Finland: Photo Collection

Natural phenomena of the Arctic Circle.

Photo by Lonely Girl, Lonely World.

To be honest, I’d never heard of Lapland before applying for a seasonal job there last December. Lapland, Finland is a northern stretch of land that encompasses part of the Arctic Circle.

It’s cold (very cold!), snowy, and absolutely beautiful.

You’ll see visual phenomena you’ve always dreamed of seeing (aurora borealis) and perhaps some rare phenomena you didn’t even know existed (iso? polar stratospheric clouds), plus so many wonderful skies you can’t even put a name to.

Because I don’t have enough articles to use all my photos in, here’s a collection of the best of Lapland, just because :)
